Poster Presentation Guidelines

11th International Symposium on Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM XI).

YOUR POSTER SHOULD INCLUDE:


  • The paper title and all authors at the top of the poster.
  • A brief introduction, goals, experimental detail, conclusions, and references; presented in a logical and clear sequence.
  • Explanations for each graph, picture, and table.

SIZE, FONTS, AND COLOR


  • Use paper size of A0, or a size of  33.1” x 46.8” (84.1 x 118.9). Please use NORMXI Poster template here
  • Use easily read type. Suggested minimum font sizes:
    • Title: >60 points
    • List of authors: 25 point type
    • Body copy should be well spaced text.
  • Choose your colours to provide strong contrast and avoid pairing red and green elements to assist those with red-green color blindness.

Print a high-resolution copy of your poster to present onsite.

PLEASE NOTE:


  • Graphic materials should be readable at a distance of 1.5 – 2.0 metres.
  • Graphics and tables should have a complete title and legend.
  • Conclusion and recommendations: Comment on main results and discuss why they are conclusive and interesting. Discuss potential biases. What are your recommendations?
  • Acknowledgments/further information: Thank individuals for specific contributions to project; mention who has provided funding.
